Newsletter #73/1/2023 Thank you for all of the work that went into making posters and videos for our expert presentations before break! The students all really enjoyed sharing their expertise in front of other students and family members. I was very impressed! Language ArtsWe're finishing up our unit on Mysteries. A-Z Mysteries have been some of our favorites. Students have been learning to look for: - the "crime solvers" - the crime / mystery - clues that lead to predictions - suspects and motives Next, we will continue reading fiction while focusing on characters. Our class read aloud will be: Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo. We will be learning about finding character traits with supporting evidence from the text. SpellingMathBelow are two letters describing the multiplication and division concepts that we are working on in math. The second letter includes some ideas to try at home.
Here's a LINK TO SOME MATH GAMES Any students wishing to take home Chromebooks for extra math practice on DreamBox are more than welcome to. I've really been enjoying this site this year because I can individually assign games that I want your student to work on for review, practice, or enrichment. Science
